Very nice! Well done.
Well, thanks!
(I guess it should be noticed that all the comments thus far have been Shaun, not Adam…we really should get some way to differentiate the two of us…)
Here on wordpress.com setting up extra users is actually pretty straight forward.
Oh, I know it’s easy, we just haven’t done it yet 😛
UK cover kicks so much ass. US cover looks like it’s for a cheap game.
Honestly, I prefer the U.S. cover. Unfortunately I couldn’t show the back side of it, which actually has some pretty stuff on it. There wasn’t an image online. The UK cover is too much of that hooded figure with a sword nonsense, and I likely wouldn’t buy it in the story.
Honestly, this was really enjoyable to listen to (and informative), even if some of the interludes sounded like the intros to a gay porno. No, but seriously. Well done. I can’t wait for the next episodes (next week, I think).
The intros sounded like gay porno? I’m just going to assume you know what you’re talking about, because I’ve yet to see such things…
Next episode will be up on the weekend. That’s the plan, anyway. We’re recording on Wednesday. Got some controversial bits to discuss, methinks.
Great first episode. You two have a good flow together. Looking forward to your next!
Well, glad we had flow! Thanks for the great comment 🙂
We flow like the mofoin Amazon. And the interludes are all Shaun Mr. Spacepirate.
I’ve got mixed feelings about the neat thing you did with a host in each ear. I liked it in my car, but I tend to listen with only one earbud when I’m walking around the apartment or the office. Thus I just stopped listening when I got to work this morning… Also it made the music interludes WAY too loud.
But, those are just nitpicks. I’m glad to have another SFF commentary podcast to listen to. The content was wonderful and I particularly like that one of you has a preference for short fiction. Keep up the good work.
That was totally my fault (Shaun). We’re fixing it for episode two. I had the wrong setting on. Sorry about that :S. We’re new to this, so…still learning.
Thanks for the criticism and we’re glad you liked the episode. We’ll turn the music down too!
I (Adam) believe short fiction is the highest form of literary art, and SF/F: doubly so. Those who disagree are charlatans.
