The Expanded Universe may be gone, but that doesn’t mean we can’t take a vacation in it! In the first episode of Thrawn and On and On, Kate Sherrod, Sarah Chorn, Rachael Acks, and Shaun Duke discuss Timothy Zahn’s classic, Heir to the Empire. Also included: we explain how we became Star Wars fans (one of us is a newbie!), and Kate shares a Star Wars-themed sonnet!
We hope you enjoy the episode!

So, I’m about halfway through my first Star Wars novel, after planning on reading one for a about 17 years (Darth Plagueis). Wondering what you guys would recommend as the penultimate Star Wars novel for knowledge of the universe and for literary skill?
That is an excellent question, Owen. If you don’t mind, I’m going to include it in our next episode on Claudia Gray’s Bloodline. 🙂
Great! Can’t wait.
