Eggs, squid, and bad dreams, oh my! Our latest listener-directed Torture Cinema episode has finally arrived. This time, we discuss the infamous adaptation of Michael Crichton’s Sphere starring Dustin Hoffman, Sharon Stone, Samuel L. Jackson, and more! At least two of us have a bit of a rant about this movie, so you should expect some pure, unadulterated Skiffy and Fanty rage in this episode!
We hope you enjoy the episode!

I remember enjoying this movie when I was a kid… but I was also about 9 years old at the time, so I’m not too sure about that anymore XD
I think it’s very healthy to return to movies you loved as a kid to remind yourself that sometimes our memories are wrong. 😛
My love and I were just talking about this movie a few weeks ago! … Specifically we were asking, whatever happened to Dustin Hoffmann? And did anyone tell him he could leave the set of Sphere? Is he maybe still there?
It is very likely that he got stuck on the set, which reliable sources tell us was actually under the ocean. Any current sightings of Dustin are of his android double.
