Torture Cinema Poll #10 Results: Our Next Torture…
Jen is really going to hate me for this, and Paul too, but it had to be done. Thanks to all our listeners, we will be reviewing the following stinker of a movie:
Torture Cinema Poll #10: What should we watch next?
Well, it’s that time again. You get to decide how much pain to cause us at the end of the month. Have at it…
#SkiffyandFanty Episode 100 — Torture Cinema Meets Doom (Special Edition w/ Guests)

Hooray us! In order to celebrate, we’ve brought on Paul Weimer and Jen’s Husband (a.k.a. Normal Pants) to talk about the infamous film adaptation of Doom, starring Dwayne “the Rock” Johnson and Karl Urban (that slightly sexy guy from Lord of the Rings and The Chronicles of Riddick). Oh, and to sweeten the pot, we put on a lovely little skit involving Macho Man Randy Savage, the Honky Tonk Man, Chyna, Michael Buffer (the “let’s get ready to rumble” guy), and a random TMZ reporter. It may be slightly funny. We don’t know… Anywho! We hope you enjoy the episode! Torture Cinema Poll #9: Emergency Movie Poll — Help Us Fill the Gap!
Jen and I were supposed to read Tom Kratman’s Caliphate, but after trying to read the book, we realized that the kind of bad we are looking for when we do these Torture Media segments doesn’t exist there. Caliphate is a bad book, but it’s not a book that we can make fun off without crossing our own lines of comfort with comedy. That’s where you all come in! We need to pick a movie for Torture Cinema, and fast! If you’ll be so kind, please vote for the bad movie you’d like us to watch this week to fill the gap. The poll will run for 24 hours. Thanks!
Episode 90 — Torture Cinema Meets New Moon (Twilight)

As punishment, we’ve provided exactly 58 minutes and … seconds of pure comedic for your aural pleasure. But that’s not enough. Oh no. Reviewing New Moon, which may be the only film to cause severe back-knee bleeding, has given Shaun a wicked idea. We’ll expose that once we’re past the vacation time… We hope you enjoy the episode! Torture Cinema Poll #8 Results
The results are in, but to make things interesting, we’ve decided to launch a preemptive strike: we’re going to record two Torture Cinema episodes at the same time, but post them during different weeks. “What’s the big deal about that?” you might say. Well, we’re going to drink through the whole thing. From start to finish. And that means we’re probably going to be so plastered that the hilarity of our normal drunkenness will be enhanced by the wonder of complete alcoholic bliss. That also means we will have two skits to perform, one while mildly intoxicated and one while completely plastered. Imagine what that will do to our acting abilities! But which two movies are we going to review? The #1 pick from the 8th Torture Cinema Poll: And its sequel: So there you have it. What do you think?
