Torture Cinema Poll #9: Emergency Movie Poll — Help Us Fill the Gap!
Jen and I were supposed to read Tom Kratman’s Caliphate, but after trying to read the book, we realized that the kind of bad we are looking for when we do these Torture Media segments doesn’t exist there. Caliphate is a bad book, but it’s not a book that we can make fun off without crossing our own lines of comfort with comedy. That’s where you all come in! We need to pick a movie for Torture Cinema, and fast! If you’ll be so kind, please vote for the bad movie you’d like us to watch this week to fill the gap. The poll will run for 24 hours. Thanks!

This week, we review Eclipse, which is marginally better than the others. Of course, that’s not saying much, now is it? We hope you enjoy the episode! Note: If you have iTunes and like this show, please give us a review on our iTunes page, or feel free to email us with your thoughts about the show! Here’s the episode (show notes are below): Episode 91 — Download (MP3) Intro and Torture Cinema Meets New Moon (0:00 – 1:00:58) Eclipse (IMDB) Our new intro music is “Time Flux” by Revolution Void (CC BY 3.0). As punishment, we’ve provided exactly 58 minutes and … seconds of pure comedic for your aural pleasure. But that’s not enough. Oh no. Reviewing New Moon, which may be the only film to cause severe back-knee bleeding, has given Shaun a wicked idea. We’ll expose that once we’re past the vacation time… We hope you enjoy the episode! Torture Cinema Poll #8 Results
The results are in, but to make things interesting, we’ve decided to launch a preemptive strike: we’re going to record two Torture Cinema episodes at the same time, but post them during different weeks. “What’s the big deal about that?” you might say. Well, we’re going to drink through the whole thing. From start to finish. And that means we’re probably going to be so plastered that the hilarity of our normal drunkenness will be enhanced by the wonder of complete alcoholic bliss. That also means we will have two skits to perform, one while mildly intoxicated and one while completely plastered. Imagine what that will do to our acting abilities! But which two movies are we going to review? The #1 pick from the 8th Torture Cinema Poll: And its sequel: So there you have it. What do you think?
Torture Cinema Poll #8: Pick Our 2nd 2012 Movie
I don’t think it’s necessary to remind you how much we hate you all for not picking Jumper. But I guess there’s not much we can do about that. You people seem to love it when we watch the truly awful and offensive… So here’s the next poll: Notice the new addition. If you pick that one, Jen will use every source at her disposal to find out where you live and ruin your garden…
Episode 82 (Season Three) — Torture Cinema Meets Twilight

I say that knowing it’s only been a few days since the last episode went live. But we’re catching up on some unfinished business, so you’ll have to give us a break. Episode 82 is our much anticipated Torture Cinema feature, in which we review-while-intoxicated the wonderfully terrible “romance” flick known to lesser beings as Twilight (we like to call it “1,000 Ways to Destroy Female Self-Esteem”). We hope you enjoy the episode! Note: If you have iTunes and like this show, please give us a review on our iTunes page, or feel free to email us with your thoughts about the show!
