  • Twelfth Planet Press (Alisa Krasnostein) — Julia is co-editing an anthology of diverse YA with Alisa. Kaleidoscope is set to launch at WorldCon.

  • Chandler Award (for outstanding achievement in Australian Speculative Fiction)
  • William Atheling Jr. Award for criticism and/or review, which is for a specific work.
  • Cat Sparks (started with art, became small press publisher, then moved to professional writing)
