#SkiffyandFanty Episode 106 — Torture Cinema Meets Howard the Duck

9 Jul

Paul and I take on the infamous Howard the Duck in July’s Torture Cinema special 80s edition!  And boy is this one a mind drain.  Plus, there’s a slightly drunken skit in the middle, which might have ruined Shaun’s vocal chords.  You don’t want to miss it…

We hope you enjoy the episode!

I just discovered your podcast, and I just listened to this back episode on a long drive back to Atlanta from Hattiesburg, MS.

Do you know this used to be a Marvel comics series in the 70s-80s? You didn’t mention it during the podcast so I wondered if you knew.

I remember reading Howard as a kid. It was very strange. A lot of the things that confused you about the movie were things that I remember as being the bizarre point of the comics.

I vaguely remember the movie, but you reminded me that it was being filmed in Cleveland while I was a college student there so thanks for the memories!
