The Skiffy and Fanty Show 28: An Interview w/ Celine Kiernan

Original Art by Dirk Reul; Adapted by Alt Jade Designs

Celine Kiernan, author of The Poison Throne, The Crowded Shadows, and The Rebel Prince, joins us for a friendly chat about her books, fantasy, her experiences in the film animation world, and the publishing industry.  Thanks again to Celine for joining us!

Note:  This is only part one of the interview.  We ran a lot longer than expected and decided to keep most of what was said.  So 28b will come next weekend, followed by Torture Cinema just after Christmas.  Stay tuned!

(Same as last week; send your responses ASAP)

  1. Hi there.I seem to be having an awful lot of trouble downloading your interview with Celine Dion.

  2. I only found your Skiffy and Fanty Show site because I logged on to Celine’s website. I’m a big fan of all aspects of Celine’s work (I should be, I’m her Dad!)
I thought I knew everything there is to be known about Celine’s career, but your interview certainly showed the gaps in my knowledge.
I can’t wait to hear the secound half of the interview next week. And I’ll be visiting your great site (and recommending it to others) often.
    Thank you,

    Eoghan Cahill

  3. A fantastic interview with an amazing insight into the Trilogy! Great to hear from Celine and to get a chance to see into her mind and the way the Moorehawke Trilogy came about. Complicated issues were discussed and the themes identified in the words of the Author herself. Was just great to hear her talk about her books! I truly cant get enough of this Trilogy 🙂

    1. Well, the good news is that there’s more to come! Another 20 minutes, I think. I have to finish editing the second half, but it’s looking like it will be in that 20 minute range.

      Thanks for the comment!
